Well for most of us the season is well and truly over... Its been a long season, the weather is now grim and its the start of the dark nights - but not for Charlotte Davies and Rosie Wayland!
In what was truly awful weather, both put in massive amounts of grit and determination to climb Winnats Pass in the Peak District. Charlotte crossed the finish in 5:07.2 to take 17th place, and Rosie finished in 5:24.4 to finish 26th (even more impressive after Rosie has spent the last few weeks with a chest infection!)
Amazing efforts! - The 'hill climb' is strong in these two!!

Huge congratulations to Jake Sargent - winner of the 2021 WTTA Hardriders series!
Out of six qualifying events Jake scored five maximum points wins, with one second place, to score an incredible 719... Incredible riding!
With only 0.1 of a second separating 1st and 2nd place men's places and the rest of the field only seconds away, it was very cosy finish at the top! And the womens race was just as spicy!!
The weather held for the event, and riders from all parts of the region came to FTP's first hill climb, and we are glad to report all went well!
A nice gathering at the HQ at the end of the event was something we had all missed over the pandemic and was generously supported by Nopinz, Mywindsock, Stimulatte Coffee, 76Projects, Bomber Bikeworks, Vittoria Tyres and Redbull drinks with some fantastic prizes for the riders... and thanks again to Phil from Flamme Rouge Photography for some great pics!
